Though we think that varicose veins problem is seen only in woman’s, the fact is both women and men are prone to varicose veins which are bulgy, lumpy and dark in color. This problem is not only seen in legs, but also in other parts of the body such as pelvic, abdomen, vulvar, and uterus and even on the face. However, this problem can be prevented and treated in number of different ways ranging from surgeries to natural remedies.

Varicose Veins in Legs

Varicose veins are enlarged inflamed veins that are seen near to the surface of the skin with deep blue or purple in color. They are caused because of the malfunctioning of veins. Though any vein can become varicose, however mostly veins in the legs and feet are mostly affected, because while standing and walking, they are in upright positions, which increases pressure in veins of the lower body & causes damage to the veins.

Abdominal Varicose Vein

Abdominal varicose vein appear in your abdominal region and it is same as varicose veins in your legs. For people suffering from varicose veins in the upper thigh and groin areas of the body, subsuming the abdominal area, a garment available, which can be worn in order to feel some relief from the condition.

Pelvic Varicose Veins

This type of Pelvic varicose is seen during pregnancy, as there is a rise in hormone levels and amount of blood flowing through the veins that results in inflammation in the pelvic region and cause pelvic varicose veins.

Vulvar Varicose Vein

The rise in hormone levels and the amount of blood flowing via the veins at the time of pregnancy, and the enlargement of uterus puts additional pressure on the vulvar that results in varicose veins. In order to feel relief from Vulvar Varicose Veins, it is suggested to wear lycra bike pants, tight elastic knickers, thick sanitary pads or two pairs of underwear. After pregnancy, these vulvar varicose veins will disappear. If they still then you need a surgery to remove them.
